Romania is a diverse and fascinating country and on our journeys we will try to reveal few of her many secrets.

DiscoveRomania  run very special small group holidays for those wishing to discover the magic of rural Romania and not only. Travelling in a small party , maximum 15 people, will ensure minimum disturbance to the communities and environments you visit.

The tours we offer are based around themes that reflect the true Romania. Some tours are fixed around special events, like the folk festivals, in Romania's traditions, or visits to the craft artisans. Others are based on special interest like encounters with the Gypsy communities , discovery of the Romanian wine.
We have prepared for 2004 the creative course holidays, which are designed to enable every participant to fully enjoy the content of both the course and the holiday. This is something new that we added to our holidays for this year All the tours have been designed to immerse you into the culture and heritage of Romania.

Accommodation will generally be in family homes, helping to support the rural economy. Staying with families introduces you to real life in rural Romania.

Travel is by car and minibus  although may include foot, bike, horse or train (occasionally steam!)
