Laura Vesa
Owner & Tour Leader
She is originally from Brasov
in central Romania (South East corner of Transylvania) where the company
is based, though she has spent a year in Britain and half a year in the
Netherlands for tourism studies. She speaks fluent English and has a degree
in Tourism Management. She is also a licensed national tourism guide and
has more than 6 years experience in organising and running tours in Romania.
Laura is also a contributor to the Lonely Planet guides, and her specialist
areas of knowledge are the Maramures, Romanian folk festivals, rural crafts,
ancient castles, the Transylvanian Saxon heritage and mountain exploration
in South-Eastern Transylvania.
Alina Beteringhe
Tour Leader
Is the youngest member of our team. A graduate in Tourism who
enjoys walking and climbing . She has travelled the length and breadth of
the Romanian Carpathian Mountains and she is a wildlife enthusiast.
She speaks fluent English and German. She has a keen interest in the history
of Saxon Transylvanians, their villages and fortified towns, and she likes
to play at the guitar whenever she can just sit and dream.
Ionut Bordea

He is studying Ecology & Environment Conservation at
the Science University ‚Lucian Blaga' from Sibiu.
He is passionate about biology and extrem sports. His interests include
biking, long-distance race and climbing.
He speaks fluent English.
Katalin Pal
Tour Leader
Katalin is a graduate in Geology-Geography from Cluj Napoca University with a Master's degree in Geology. She is a qualified national tourism guide who enjoys caving and walking. She speaks fluent English and Hungarian. Her relaxed manner and easy charm make her a popular leader.
